Junior Network Security Engineer

Minimum/General Experience:

4 Years of relevant experience.

Functional Responsibility:

Responsible for analysis of edge and sub-netted security devices, such as routers, intrusion prevention systems and firewalls. Monitors and analyzes current network security status and installs firmware updates and security patches. Implements authentication tools for firewalls, access lists, intrusion detection systems, VPNs and NAT related connectivity. Implements networking services for secure operations between client offices. Develops system tools for auditing and maintaining security. Develops and implements networking services for secure operations. Implements changes to subnet-to-subnet VPNs and secure remote connectivity. Develops and Implements changes to system wide security policies. Perform and hosts security audits on behalf of the client.

Minimum Education and Certifications:

Associate’s Degree, Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) Certification, Cisco Certified Design Associate (CCDA) Certification.
