Junior Help Desk AnalystMinimum/General Experience: 3 Years of relevant experience. Functional Responsibility: Broad technical knowledge of COTS software applications such as, but not limited to, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, access and Windows 2000, XP and Vista operating systems. Detailed knowledge of application features along with an intermediate knowledge of the details of commonly used features, as well as how the application interacts with the host environment. Advanced technical knowledge of site peculiar software applications. Expert knowledge about the user desktop environment. Interact with users to resolve problems or gather more detail about a problem prior to isolation or escalation. Implements training guides and courses to assist the user community. Minimum Education and Certifications: Associate’s Degree, Microsoft Office Specialist and Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA) Certification.
